United Services GroupSM Releases Version 2.0 of ADELINE®
ELK RIVER, MN – February 15, 2006 – United Services Group, a department of Great River Energy, announces the release of Version 2.0 of its ADELINE staking software for electric utilities.
“It’s hard to believe that only a year has past since ADELINE and the GIS Plug-In were released, “ explained Richard Isle, Leader of Software Development. “The utility market has needed something affordable that can easily be supported at the utility level regardless of their current infrastructure.”
The release of ADELINE Version 2.0 follows in the footsteps of ESRI’s ArcPad 7.0. ADELINE has a component that installs into AcrPad that provides tools for staking electric distribution line in the ArcPad environment.
The core component of ADELINE is lightweight allowing for installation on CE’s, Pocket PC’s, Tablets, Laptops and utilizing the ADELINE plug-in for GIS data from GIS systems can be utilized in all aspects of the design. The “staked” information can be utilized in other business systems used in the utility.
