United Services GroupSM Announces the Release Version 2.3.0 of ADELINE®
Elk River, Minnesota, April 3, 2008 - United Services Group, the creators of ADELINE recently announced that it has released a new version of its automated staking solution for electric utilities.
ADELINE version 2.3.0 allow has been released in concurrence with the release of ArcPad® 7.1 by ESRI®. ADELINE has been tested thoroughly to operate in conjunction with either ArcPad 7.0 and 7.1 In addition to the compliance testing, Adeline has fixed some known issues and added several enhancements. The following features are some of the enhancements for Adeline version 2.3.0
Unit types can now be changed in Units Mgmt after import
Symbology has been added to depict meter, splice or other
Users can now use custom symbols for graphical representation of units instead of the Adeline defaults
Multiple point features can be deleted with a single selection
New projects can be based on existing projects with options of copying landbase, project data, both, or none
A vertex is added to an OH Primary line at each control point location when using the automatic pole insertion in the OH Conductor form. This allows for conductor to be moved utilizing the move vertex function in the toolbar
A comment without an arrow can be placed on the project map
The core component of ADELINE is lightweight allowing for installation on CE’s, Pocket PC’s, Tablets, Laptops and utilizing the ADELINE plug-in for GIS data from GIS systems can be utilized in all aspects of the design. The "staked" information can be utilized in other business systems used in the utility.
